In collaboration with the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) delivers world-class clinical and research fellowship training in a state-of-the-art medical center and medical school.

Why our program could be right for you

The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) offers outstanding clinical experience and mentorship in a collaborative environment, while providing innovative care for children and families in the Bronx community, tristate area and beyond. Fellows rotate on the general inpatient units, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Emergency Department and others, and also practice in a community hospital setting at White Plains Hospital, located in Westchester. Fellows receive robust clinical research and quality-improvement training, as well as active formal and informal teaching opportunities.

A challenging and innovative curriculum

During the two-year Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship, fellows rotate at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM), the academic pediatric hospital for the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as well as White Plains Hospital, a Westchester community hospital, on both resident and attending-only services. Fellows also complete several relevant elective rotations. Our fellows receive high-caliber training in research, quality improvement, education and leadership. They also participate in the departmental science course for pediatric subspecialty fellows and enjoy the option of obtaining a Master of Science degree in Clinical Research Methods through the Clinical Research Training Program (CRTP) at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
