Allergy & Immunology Fellowship Program
The Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Fellowship Program is among the largest of its kind in the United States. Over the past 45 years, more than 130 fellows have successfully completed the program. Graduates hold prominent academic appointments and clinical positions within major medical centers, as well as leadership roles in private practice settings across the country.

Why our program could be right for you
The training program is a collaborative initiative between the Divisions of Allergy and Immunology within the Departments of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine. Dr. Rubinstein serves as the Director, overseeing and coordinating both the Pediatric and Adult programs. He is supported by Dr. Larry Bernstein (Pediatrics), Co-Director of the overall program, as well as Dr. Manish Ramesh and Dr. Jessica Oh (Internal Medicine).
A premier academic children’s hospital
Located on our Moses Campus, Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Einstein (CHAM) is a premier academic children’s hospital nationally renowned for its clinical excellence, innovative research and commitment to training the next generation of pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists.
This outpatient facility is dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of children and adults with allergic and immunologic disorders.
1180 Morris Park is an outpatient facility dedicated to the care of children and adults with allergic and immunologic disorders, including the administration of biologic therapies for immunodeficiencies and asthma. The site houses a specialized unit for the management of both congenital and acquired immune disorders. Additional services include spirometry, comprehensive allergy testing and treatment, as well as oral and subcutaneous immunotherapy.
An ambulatory surgery center and specialty care location
The Hutchinson Campus is an outpatient facility dedicated to the evaluation and treatment of children and adults with allergies, including comprehensive management of asthma.
Being part of this fellowship truly felt like joining a family. The faculty and staff are both professional and deeply supportive, creating an environment where I felt challenged but always encouraged. The work is demanding, but also incredibly rewarding.

A world-renowned faculty
A challenging and innovative curriculum
Fellows participate in daily outpatient rotations within clinics specializing in allergic and immunologic disorders. They are encouraged to engage in scholarly activity and regularly present abstracts at national meetings. The program also maintains a robust inpatient consultative service. Elective opportunities are available in ENT, rheumatology, bone marrow transplantation, and dermatology. In addition, the curriculum includes a structured lecture series, a dedicated journal club, and a comprehensive board review course.
