Why our program could be right for you
The Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellowship Program offers an outstanding clinical and educational experience in a collaborative environment, providing family-integrated, multidisciplinary, and evidence-based healthcare. To assist fellows in developing the tools necessary to embark on a career based on their chosen academic focus, fellows participate in individualized professional development activities. Ample opportunities exist for the pursuit of scholarly activities within the Montefiore Einstein and Albert Einstein College of Medicine communities.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Jack D. Weiler Hospital, Einstein Campus
Located adjacent to our Albert Einstein College of Medicine, the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Weiler Division of Montefiore Einstein is a state-of-the-art level IV Regional Perinatal Center (RPC) that provides family-integrated, multidisciplinary, evidence-based care in a nurturing environment to critically ill neonates with complex conditions. Importantly, it is the only New York State designated RPC in the Bronx.
I appreciate the ability to express my thoughts and opinions freely without judgment and learn from feedback given by the faculty.

A challenging and innovative curriculum
Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine Fellows have the option to feature some of the day-to day experiences and learnings for residents and fellows in your program. Fellows participate in Simulation and POCUS training, both in the delivery room and in the NICU.
Our fellowship program has the strong sense of autonomy we were given in managing complex patients, which has been invaluable for my growth as a clinician. The NICU staff here are exceptionally supportive and truly felt like family.
