An academic hospital adjacent to Albert Einstein College of Medicine
Montefiore Einstein Weiler Hospital is a 421-bed private hospital located in the Pelham Parkway section of the Bronx, adjacent to Albert Einstein College of Medicine. It serves as the home base of Montefiore’s Gynecologic Oncology Division, where the majority of surgeries are performed and many patients are admitted for hospital care. Its proximity to Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Einstein Cancer Center provides opportunities for education and training for students, residents, and fellows, as well as collaboration with hematology-oncology faculty and scientists at the College of Medicine.
A landmark for accessible cancer care in the Bronx
A distinctive and trusted cancer care destination in the Bronx, 1695 Eastchester Road, known locally as the Green Glass Building (GGB), is a highly visible landmark in the community. The facility houses gynecologic oncology clinics and division offices, as well as on-site infusion services, including chemotherapy, other systemic therapies, and clinical trials.
Home to notable programs and our Centers of Excellence
The Moses Campus is the main campus of our premier academic medical center, bringing state-of-the-art care to the community it serves. As a 726-bed hospital with the busiest emergency department in the Bronx, Moses offers exposure to a vast range of pathologies and opportunities to work with many medical specialties, including a rotation with the colorectal surgery service. The Moses Hospital also houses radiation therapy facilities and provides fellows with opportunities to learn about inpatient radiation treatment modalities, such as interstitial brachytherapy.
A partner teaching hospital designated as a Level 1 trauma center
A 457-bed hospital and home to the only burn unit in the Bronx, Jacobi Medical Center (JMC) is a member of NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public health system in the country. Residents and fellows work with dedicated gynecology and gynecologic oncology services to care for a diverse patient population from across the city.
